In our minisode Show 13.5 “War Horror Movies,” we discuss some great ones, and some groaners. War is hell, but the keep? It’s worse. So much worse….
Here’s the list of movies we promised, in no specific order because we’re not specifically orderly about anything.
THE KEEP – we hated it. Even Mark, who at one time loved it. The soundtrack is awesome. The movie makes you wish you could get that part of your life back.
FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY – Mark and John had seen it. They wanted to love it. They should have been able to love it. But the only thing that stopped them from loving the movie…was the movie.
OZOMBIE – Mark saw it. Mark owns it. Mark’s not proud of that fact, but the movie does have a few redeeming qualities.
DOG SOLDIERS – OH HELL YES! But we didn’t talk about it, because we’re saving it for our “Dog Days of the Damned” podcast next month.
PREDATOR – How could we NOT? Thumbs up all the way around. If you haven’t seen this, your life hasn’t begun yet.
DEAD & DEADER – Mark liked it, though it’s been a while since he watched it. Funny, TV quality movie.
UNCLE SAM – terrible movie with a very few semi-decent highlights.. Shelby seems to love sack-races with decapitations. We’re not surprised…
THE CRAZIES – yup, we all love it. Great take on zombie breakout.
THE DEVIL’S ROCK – John hadn’t seen this yet, but Mark & Shelby had- and they gave it muy thumbs up.
